Two properties targeted by theives in same street, Swindon.

Wiltshire Police is appealing for witnesses after two incidents (a burglary and an attempted burglary) in the same street in Swindon around the same time. 

The incidents happened between 8pm and 9pm on Saturday 28 January 2017 at two properties on Southampton Street. 

Fishing equipment was stolen from one property and an attempted break-in was made at another. 

Around the same time a group of youth were spotted by a member of the public handing items to other unknown suspect(s) over the wall of the car park next to the Merlin Pub.  

A black Vauxhall Zafira was then seen driving out of the car park and heading off towards York Road.
