Daily Crime Update - Salisbury CPT Mon 20th March and weekend catch up

Wiltshire South (Salisbury) Community Policing Team – Daily crime summary 

Crimes will be listed by location under the headings of Salisbury, Alderbury (area traditionally policed from Alderbury Police Stn) and Wilton (area traditionally policed from Wilton Police Stn). 

Please find below a summary of local crimes which have been reported since Friday 17th March. (Please note this is a summary, it is not possible to list all crimes due to confidentiality issues e.g. some violent offences or for domestic disputes).

15/03/17 (approx. 8-20pm)– Theft x 4 – Southampton Rd – offenders entered compound and stole catalytic converters from 4 vans – CCTV enqs ongoing
20/03/17 (approx. 9am)– Theft – Post Office, Winchester St – offender stole purse which had been left briefly on counter. £30 stolen from purse which was discarded outside – CCTV enqs ongoing
Alderbury community area
19/03/17 – Theft – Church Hill, Lover – offender stole electric fencing unit and battery from field
Wilton community area
18/03/17 – (approx. 5-15am) – Burglary – Netherhampton Business Centre – offenders forced entry to business unit, causing damage to external and internal doors. Stole bronze statue and cash box. Cash box was subsequently found dumped in Pennings Drove, Coombe Bissett – CCTV enqs ongoing
18/03/17 – Theft – Layby between Bowerchalke and Ebbesbourne Wake – offender smashed window of parked car and stole wallet containing cash, also attempted to lever open door and boot
