Crimes will be listed by location under the headings of Salisbury, Alderbury (area traditionally policed from Alderbury Police Stn) and Wilton (area traditionally policed from Wilton Police Stn).
Please find below a summary of local crimes which have been reported in the last 48hrs. (Please note this is a summary, it is not possible to list all crimes due to confidentiality issues e.g. some violent offences or for domestic disputes).
18/04/17 – Robbery and subsequent Burglary – Co-op, Kelsey Rd – see below witness appeal
19/04/17 – Burglary – The Crescent, Rowbarrow – see below witness appeal re series of motorbike thefts
20/04/17 – Theft – Harnham Rd – (approx. 1215hrs) offender stole grey ladies ‘Voodoo’ mountain bike and helmet from outside house
20/04/17 – Theft – Five Rivers Leisure centre – offender stole rucksack from open locker. Rucksack contained handbag/ clothing and phone

19/04/17 – Attempt Burglary – (overnight) Broadchalke Primary School – offender attempted to force open storage shed causing damage, nothing stolen

Robbery at Co-op in Kelsey Rd, Salisbury - witness appeal
Wiltshire Police is appealing for witnesses after a robbery at the Co-op on Kelsey Road, Salisbury on Tues evening (18 April 2017).
Around 9.45pm two males wearing hooded tops walked into the shop and demanded money from the till. The man behind the counter was assaulted and one male managed to take some cash from the till; both males then left the store.
The victim received bruising to his face and hand and was taken to Salisbury District Hospital for treatment.
Male 1: white, slim, 6" 2' tall, wearing a burgundy puffa style coat and dark blue jeans.
Male 2: white, 5' 8" tall with a dirty face, wearing a dark blue coat and dark blue jeans.
Then just before 1am on Wednesday 19 April 2017, the same shop was targeted by five males in balaclavas who forced their way into the store. The alarm was activated and the males ran off. It's not clear at this stage if anything was taken.
Det Sgt Jim Stannard said: "We would like to hear from anyone who heard or saw anything suspicious in this area and around this shop - either yesterday evening when the two suspects took the cash or early this morning when the group of men broke into the building."

Series of motorbike thefts in Salisbury area - appeal for information
Police are appealing for information to a series of bike thefts in the Salisbury area.
Between 9.30pm on 19 April and 12.30am on 17 April, a Yamaha WR 125R motorcycle was stolen from the garden of a house in Salterton, Woodford Valley. The bike is blue and white, with grey grips with blue ends, ufo handguards and rock oil stickers
Between 11pm on 16 April and 10am on 17 April, a Honda CRF 250 X off road bike was stolen from the back garden of a home in Devizes Road, Salisbury.
Between 9pm on 18 April and 7am on 19 April, there was a burglary in The Crescent, Rowbarrow, and an orange KTM Freeride bike was stolen along with the security alarm from the garage.
PC Matt Holland said: “We are keeping an open mind but believe these incidents may be linked. Enquiries are being carried out and we would like to hear from anyone who may have seen or heard any suspicious behaviour in these areas during these times.
