Wiltshire South (Salisbury) Community Policing Team – Daily crime summary 

 

Crimes will be listed by location under the headings of Salisbury, Alderbury (area traditionally policed from Alderbury Police Stn) and Wilton (area traditionally policed from Wilton Police Stn). 

Please find below a summary of local crimes which have been reported since Monday 17th July (Please note this is a summary, it is not possible to list all crimes due to confidentiality issues e.g. some violent offences or for domestic disputes).

 

Salisbury

 

17/07/17 – Theft – (prior to 5-15am) – The Valley – offender smashed window of parked car and stole cash

 

17/07/17 – Burglary (prior to 4-30am) – Friary Lane – offender forced entry to shed and stole jet washer

 

17/07/17 – Theft (prior to 9pm) – Burford Ave – offender cut lock and stole adult tricycle from outside house

 

18/07/17 – Theft (o/night) – Harnwood Rd – offender entered insecure vehicle and stole ‘Garmin’ satnav

 

18/07/17 – Theft (o/night) – Francis Way – offender entered insecure van and stole purse, wallet and satnav

 

18/07/17 – Theft (o/night) – Andrews Way – offender entered insecure vehicle and made search – nothing stolen

 

18/07/17 – Theft (over 3 day period) – New Bridge Rd – offender cut and stole catalytic converter from Landrover

 

19/07/17 – Burglary (approx. 2-30am) – Devizes Rd – offender jemmied open coal shed at side of house. Disturbed by owner – male in black hoodie seen to run off

 

Alderbury community area

 

No crimes to report in this period

 

Wilton community area

 

17/07/17 – Burglary (over 2 day period) – Lower Rd, Quidhampton – offender forced entry to shed and stole ‘Iseki’ lawnmower

 

19/07/17 – Criminal Damage – Stoford – offender drove vehicle onto land – probably hare coursing – caused damage to crops
