Wiltshire South (Salisbury) Community Policing Team – Crime summary 


**Due to holidays and other staff absence, we won’t be able to send out crime updates for the next 2 weeks. Updates will resume on my return –

Crimes will be listed by location under the headings of Salisbury, Alderbury (area traditionally policed from Alderbury Police Stn) and Wilton (area traditionally policed from Wilton Police Stn). 

Please find below a summary of local crimes which have been reported in the last 24hrs (Please note this is a summary, it is not possible to list all crimes due to confidentiality issues e.g. some violent offences or for domestic disputes).




28/07/17 – Criminal Damage (approx. 9-45am) – Market Square – offender pushed over m/bike causing damage to paintwork, also removed and ripped up L plates. Witness saw suspect – white male in early 30’s, black trousers, black coat, yellow cap


28/07/17 – Theft (over 2 week period) – Elm Grove Rd – offender stole 5 green vents/ grills from VW over 2 week period


Alderbury community area


27/07/17 – Theft – Southampton Rd, Landford – offenders cut hedge and climbed fence into yard, then forced entry to vehicle caused damage and tried to steal radio


27/07/17 – Criminal Damage – The Moot, Downton – offender caused damage to newly planted sapling


Wilton community area


No crimes to report in this period
