Wiltshire South (Salisbury) Community Policing Team – Crime summary 

 

Crimes will be listed by location under the headings of Salisbury, Alderbury (area traditionally policed from Alderbury Police Stn) and Wilton (area traditionally policed from Wilton Police Stn). 

Please find below a summary of local crimes which have been reported since Sat 26th August (Please note this is a summary, it is not possible to list all crimes due to confidentiality issues e.g. some violent offences or for domestic disputes).

 

Salisbury

 

26/08/17 – Criminal Damage (approx. 1045pm) – Ivy Street - offender threw glass bottle at upstairs window causing it to smash – CCTV enqs ongoing

 

26/08/17 – Criminal Damage (approx. 1120pm) – Pinewood Way – owner of parked car heard loud bang then discovered windscreen had been smashed

 

Alderbury community area

 

26/08/17 – Criminal Damage (over 24hr period) – Wyvern College, Laverstock – offender smashed outer pane of double glazed window

 

29/08/17 – Criminal Damage (approx. 7am) – Britford – owner heard sound of breaking glass and found small rear window had been smashed – unclear whether any attempt was made to gain entry

 

Wilton community area

 

No crimes to report in this period

Theft in Salisbury - appeal for information

We are appealing for information following a theft which occurred in Salisbury.

Between 3.30pm and 4pm on 5 August, a 27-year-old man was in the Kings Head Inn (Wetherspoons) and while he was ordering at the bar, a shopping bag containing beauty products was stolen from his table.
