Woman bitten by dog in Salisbury - witnesses sought

Officers are appealing for information after a woman was bitten by a dog in Salisbury. 

On Monday 31 July 2017 the local woman was walking between Millstream Approach and Avon Approach, near to the Millstream Surgery, when she was bitten on the arm by a dog. 

The dog is described as a Rottweiler type animal and was alone. 

The victim (in her 40s) had to be treated at Salisbury District Hospital.
