CORONATION STREET, TROWBRIDGE – Overnight on 4th October, a motorbike which was parked outside of a house was stolen despite being secured with a steering lock and wheel lock.  Bike has subsequently been recovered.

WINSLEY HILL, LIMPLEY STOKE – Overnight on 4th October, entry was gained to a farm barn by forcing the padlock.  Once inside, a number of STHIL powers tools to the value of around £2000 were taken.

CAMPION DRIVE, TROWBRIDGE - BURGLARY DWELLING – Overnight on 4th October, entry was made to a property via the dining room window.  Expensive jewellery was stolen consisting of a ruby and diamond gold ring and a Gucci watch.

SAINSBURY'S, BRITISH ROW, TROWBRIDGE – At around 1830hours on 4th October a male entered the store, walked to the health and beauty aisle and picked up an electric razor to the value of £75.00.  He removed the security tag and concealed the razor underneath his hooded jacket and exited the store.

EASTBOURNE ROAD, TROWBRIDGE – During the evening of 5th October a 4ft black metal post box with ‘post box’ written on gold lettering which had been cemented to the floor was stolen.

BRIDGE 168, TROWBRIDGE – Between 29th September and 6th October, 2 coping stones were stolen from a canal bridge.

NORTH BRADLEY, TROWBRIDGE – Overnight on 4th October, two fence posts for a field gate were snapped.  The gate was then moved leaving it nearby with the field open. The field contains several horses, which were all left in the field.

WESTMEAD CRESCENT, TROWBRIDGE – AT around 1515hours on 5th October, a Rottweiler pinned a dog down by the neck. There was then an altercation between the two dog owners.

FARLEIGH RISE, MONKTON FARLEIGH, BRADFORD-ON-AVON – During the morning of 27th September, a snare is believed to have been left in the area which has wrapped round a dogs leg causing considerable injuries.  It is possible that the dog will be losing its leg.

TESCO EXPRESS, FROME ROAD, TROWBRIDGE – At around 1725hours on 8th October, a female has selected some food and alcohol and left without making any attempt to conceal or to pay for them.

TESCO EXTRA, COUNTY WAY, TROWBRIDGE – At 0400hours on 9th October a male has concealed memory cards and then left the location making no attempt to pay.

JOB CENTRE, BYTHESEA ROAD, TROWBRIDGE – Between 6th and 9th October a beer bottle has been thrown at a door to a building. The bottle has smashed upon impact and the window of the door has smashed but remained intact within the frame.

DUNKIRK BUSINESS PARK, FROME ROAD, SOUTHWICK, TROWBRIDGE – Between 7th and 9th October, two offside wheels have been stolen from a parked car.

SILVER STREET LANE, BROKERSWOOD – Burglary - shed - residential - Shortly before 1am on 28th September an open shed in a field has been entered 2 quad bikes were stolen. Property taken: CF Moto quad bike, camouflage colour, road legal, originally cost £5,000, and a child's quad bike, Quadzilla R100, black colour, worth £1,500

SAINSBURY'S, BRITISH ROW, TROWBRIDGE – At around 1820 hours on 5th October, a female has entered the store and selected 2 Pokémon gift sets to the value of £40. The female exited the store without paying for the gift sets.

DIAMOND NEWS, ST. THOMAS ROAD, TROWBRIDGE -  2 unknown suspects have entered a store, one has distracted the shop assistant while the other, who was high on drugs, has stolen a Christmas pudding and a packet of Rizzla.

ASDA, BRADFORD ROAD, MELKSHAM – At around 1820hours on 5th October a large quantity of Brandy and Whiskey totalling over £900 was placed in a trolley and covered with clothing.  The male responsible for this was sighted by security and has then abandoned the trolley and left the store.

ASDA, BRADFORD ROAD, MELKSHAM – During the morning of 5th October, 3 females have entered the store together filling up a trolley with non-food goods to the value of £349.00.  When approached by staff they left the trolley and ran off.

CUSTODY SUITE, HAMPTON PARK WEST, MELKSHAM, WILTSHIRE – At around 0035hours on 9th October scratches were caused to a Police cell causing around £250 worth of damage.

KITTYHAWK CLOSE, BOWERHILL, MELKSHAM – Overnight on 8th October the nearside of a car has been kicked causing damage.

 

           

 

West Wiltshire Area - Charges of Note:

 

Michelle CLARKE, 42 years old of Shurnhold, Melksham – Charged on 8th October with Drunk and Disorderly behaviour in Melksham.  Bailed to appear in Salisbury Court on 27th October.

 

Ashley PALMER, 26 years old of St Marys Road, Frome – Charged on 6th October with 4 accounts of shop theft from Trowbridge and Melksham, and 1 account of making off without payment from Warminster.  Bailed to appear in Salisbury Court on 27th October with a condition not to enter any retail premises within Wiltshire.

 

Ali AYOUB, 31 years old of Prospect Place, Trowbridge – Arrested and charged on 10th October after being wanted on Warrant from Bristol Court.  Bail was refused.  Outcome of Court not yet known.
