Please find below details relating to the Community Impactive Crimes that have occurred since Friday morning in the Westbury, Warminster, Tisbury and Mere areas :


Crime - Burglary Residential (Shed/Garage etc)

BASHKIR ROAD, WESTBURY - Suspect has caused damage to the victim's garage door which is separate from the main property. They have jammied the door two feet open and broken some wires. Unknown if entry has been gained, but nothing stolen from within.



Transport - Road related offence

BITHAM PARK, WESTBURY - Vehicle stopped and driver has provided a positive breath test at the roadside.


Oliver KNOWLES, 27 year old male from an address in Timbrell Street, Trowbridge has been charged with Failing to Provide a Specimen of Breath. He has been bailed to attend Salisbury Magistrates Court on the 2nd March 2018.

CO-OP STORES, HIGH STREET, TISBURY - Suspect has stolen the victim's mobile phone from her handbag which was on her person whilst inside the store.

LONGBRIDGE DEVERILL SERVICE STATION, SAND STREET, LONGBRIDGE DEVERILL - Suspect(s) have taken tiles of roof and attempted to gain entry to the premises.

MASEFIELD ROAD, WARMINSTER - Suspect has slashed the tyres to victim's 3 securely parked vehicles, keyed all three vehicles.

STOURHEAD CAR PARK, STOURTON - Suspect has smashed the rear windscreen of the victims parked and unattended vehicle and have stolen a handbag and contents from the boot.

STOURHEAD CAR PARK, STOURTON - Suspect has gained access to the victim’s vehicle which was unlocked in a small car park at the location. Once inside suspect has stolen handbag.


  • Try to park somewhere open and well-lit.
  • Lock up – including the boot.
  • Remember to close the windows and sunroof.
  • Don’t leave anything in your car when you park – not even a coat or empty carrier bag.
  • If you have a removable sat nav, remove it and take it with you if possible. Remove the mounting, polish any marks off the windscreen and hide the cable and mounting.
  • Store car ownership information at home, not in your car.
  • Number plates are often stolen for criminal use. Use plates secured with anti-theft screws, available from car accessory stores.
  • Do not store things in the boot.

CLIVEY, DILTON MARSH, WESTBURY - Suspect has stolen the victim's red petrol lawn mower from his driveway at the front of his property.
