TROWBRIDGE CRIME UPDATE  – 02/04/18 - 08/03/18

 

54180028781 – At approximately 1700 hours on the 2nd April, a 14 year old male was assaulted by another male youth in The Shires Shopping Centre. Enquiries are ongoing to obtain statements prior to interviewing the suspect.

 

54180030371 – Between 1200 hours and 1700 hours on the 6th April, three pairs of Rayban glasses were stolen from a stand within Boots Opticians, Fore Street, Trowbridge.

 

54180030476 – At approximately 0245 hours on the 8th April, a male was stopped in Fore Street, Trowbridge by officers, and found to be in possession of a small bag of a Class B drug. The male was arrested and subsequently charged. Abdelqader FOURHALI, a 51 year old male from an address in Burnett Road, Trowbridge has been charged with Possess a Controlled Drug of Class B – Amphetamine. He has been bailed to attend Salisbury Magistrates Court on the 27th April.

 

54180030515 – Overnight between the 7th and 8th April, damage was caused to a tyre of a vehicle parked in Clarks Mill, Stallard Street, Trowbridge. A sharp tool was used to slash the tyre of the Vauxhall Astra.

 

54180028951 – At approximately 1145 hours on the 3rd April a Honda CRV was stopped on Seymour Road, by local officers. The driver, a 59 year old local male, was found to be driving the vehicle otherwise in accordance of his license, without insurance and whilst using a mobile telephone. The driver has been reported for the offences, and the vehicle was seized using Section 165 Road Traffic Act.

 

54180028780 – At approximately 1740 hours on the 2nd April, damage was caused to a window of a property in Heron Walk, Trowbridge. Three males were seen to walk past the property, and one was seen to throw a stone at the window causing it to crack. All three males then ran off.

 

54180028633 – Between 0845 hours and 0925 hours on the 2nd April, damage was caused to the rear window of a Vauxhall Corsa parked at the Spitfire Retail Park, Bradley Road, Trowbridge. Nothing was stolen from within the vehicle.

 

54180029069 – Between 0200 hours and 0930 hours on the 2nd April, damage was caused to the rear window of a Seat Alhambra parked on a driveway at a property in Harmony Place, Trowbridge. Stones had been thrown at the vehicle, causing the rear windscreen to smash.

 

54180030054 – Overnight between the 5th and 6th April, a property in Lydiard Way, Trowbridge was broken into. Entry was forced to the property via the back door, and a messy search was conducted within. It is not believed that anything was stolen from the address.

 

54180029301 – Overnight between the 2nd and 3rd April, a stone was thrown at a property in Lambrok Road, Trowbridge, causing an upstairs window to break.

 

54180029416 – Between 0800 hours and 1800 hours on the 4th April, entry was forced to a garage at a property in West Ashton. Damage was caused to the padlock in order to gain entry. An 18 ft ladder was stolen from within.
