Attempted break-in to Swindon charity shop

Officers are appealing for witnesses after a cancer charity shop was broken into. 

Between 5pm on Saturday 28 July and 8.30am on Monday 30 July, unknown offenders attempted to enter the Marie Curie shop on Cricklade Road, Gorse Hill, Swindon by smashing a glass panel on the front door.  

The offenders attempted to crawl through the broken window cutting themselves in the process but then left the scene without getting in to the premises. 

If anyone heard or saw anything suspicious in the area between these times and dates please contact PC Nathan Martin on 101, quoting crime reference number 54180070925, or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
