Alert message sent 09/10/2018 15:03:00

Information sent on behalf of Wiltshire Police

We're appealing for witnesses after an altercation between two teenage girls in Swindon.

At approximately 9am yesterday (08/10) in the area of the County Ground,  a 15-year-old girl was assaulted by another girl.

Although not seriously hurt the victim was very shaken by the incident.

We'd especially like to hear from the man who approached the victim afterwards after walking from the back of Tesco car park on Ocotal Way - if that was you please come forward.

We're also appealing for anyone who may have been in that area at that time and may have seen or heard something suspicious to contact us.

If you can help in anyway please call PC Edward Rogers on 101 quoting crime reference number 54180095040.  Alternatively, you can contact us anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
