Information sent on behalf of Wiltshire Police

We're appealing for information after tools worth approximately £3,000 were stolen in a burglary in Bradford-on-Avon.

The incident happened at approximately 6.20am this morning at an address in Trowbridge Road.

The offender is believed to have used an angle grinder to cut a lock, and then kicked in some wood cladding at the back of a property before stealing a number of tools and scrap metal.

Tools stolen include:

Two Makita hammer drills
Makita braker
Makita 4" grinder
Makita petrol saw
Makita nail gun
Makita skill saw and batteries

PC Sian Wilson said: "It is likely that those responsible had a van with them due to the amount of tools and scrap metal that has been stolen.

"We are appealing for anyone who may have seen a suspicious vehicle parked in the area at the time, or anyone who saw people loading a vehicle with tools and other items."

Anyone with information should call 101 and quote crime reference number 54190007987.

Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
