Please find below details relating to the Community Impactive Crimes that have occurred over the weekend in the Trowbridge, Bradford on Avon and Melksham areas :
 
 
Trowbridge
 
Crime – Arson and Criminal Damage 25/01/2019 12:09   SUMMERLEAZE, TROWBRIDGE - Suspect has damaged victims bedroom window using a pellet gun.
 
Crime - Theft 25/01/2019 13:18   CRADLE BRIDGE RETAIL PARK, COUNTY WAY, TROWBRIDGE – Victim put down her purse down in store toilets, and forgot to pick it up. When she returned a short time later, the purse was missing.
 
Transport - Road related offence 25/01/2019 14:01   CASTLE STREET, TROWBRIDGE - No insurance.
 
29 year old male from the Semington area has been reported for the offence of No Insurance.
 
Transport - Road related offence 25/01/2019 17:35   VICTORIA ROAD, TROWBRIDGE - Vehicle involved in injury RTC and driver arrested on suspicion of driving whilst over prescribed limit.
 
Thomas EVANS, 28 year old male from an address in Avon Road, Melksham has been charged with Driving a mechanically propelled vehicle without due care and attention, and Driving a motor vehicle when alcohol level above limit. He has been bailed to appear before Salisbury Magistrates Court on the 13th February 2019.
 
Crime - Burglary Residential (Dwelling) 25/01/2019 16:18   WEST ASHTON ROAD, TROWBRIDGE - Suspect has gained entry to victims house. An untidy search has been conducted and items such as Jewellery and a purse have been stolen. Suspect was disturbed by victim returning home, and made off towards Biss Meadow.
 
Crime - Violence Against the Person 25/01/2019 22:33   CASTLE PLACE, TROWBRIDGE - Suspect has been waving a baseball bat around in a public place and been aggressive and abusive to members of the public.
 
Nigel DOWNING, 26 year old male from an address in Longfield Road, Trowbridge has been charged with Possession of an offensive weapon, and Using threatening / abusive behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress. He has been bailed to appear before Salisbury Magistrates Court on the 15th February 2019.
 
Crime – Arson and Criminal Damage 26/01/2019 03:57   CARDERS CORNER, TROWBRIDGE - A group of unknown people have damaged the victim's front door and have thrown a brick through a window.
 
Crime – Arson and Criminal Damage 26/01/2019 10:16   LONGFIELD ROAD, TROWBRIDGE - Suspect has slashed the rear drivers side tyre of a vehicle, whilst parked on the road.
 
Crime – Vehicle offences 26/01/2019 11:55   CENTENARY COURT, TROWBRIDGE - Suspect has entered victims vehicle through the unlocked door and stolen a stack of printing and a memory stick.
 
Crime – Arson and Criminal Damage 26/01/2019 14:01   LAMBROK ROAD, TROWBRIDGE - Male has smashed one of the victim's window with a hammer and has then thrown the hammer through another window.
 
Transport - Road related offence 27/01/2019 02:30   A361, HILPERTON, TROWBRIDGE - Suspect has been stopped and arrested for drink driving.
 
Jason BUTCHER, 43 year old male from an address in The Conigre, Trowbridge has been charged with Driving a motor vehicle when alcohol level above limit. He has been bailed to appear before Salisbury Magistrates Court on the 15th February 2019.
 
Crime - Drug Offence 27/01/2019 13:34   BRADLEY ROAD, TROWBRIDGE - Driver has been arrested having tested positive at the roadside for Cannabis.  
 
17 year old male from the Westbury area has been arrested, and Released Under Investigation.
 
Transport - Road related offence 27/01/2019 14:44   WINGFIELD ROAD, TROWBRIDGE - Vehicle stopped, male was disqualified driver and had no insurance.
 
Julian TAYLOR, 56 year old male from an address in Wingfield Road, Trowbridge was arrested, and has been charged within Driving whilst disqualified. He was due to appear before Swindon Magistrates Court on the 28th January 2019. The vehicle was seized.


Bradford on Avon
 
Crime - Theft 25/01/2019 11:51   TYNING ROAD, WINSLEY – Suspect(s) have stolen 2x saws, whilst staff were working at the location.
 
 
 
 

 
Melksham
  
Crime – Vehicle offences 25/01/2019 10:31   TOWER ROAD, MELKSHAM - Suspect has removed both front and rear number plates from the victim's vehicle.
 
Transport - Road related offence 26/01/2019 00:32   NEW BROUGHTON ROAD, MELKSHAM - A vehicle has been recovered for SEC 165 NO INS.
 
A 38 year old male from Melksham was issued with a Traffic Offence Report, and the vehicle was seized.
 
ASB - Nuisance 26/01/2019 17:16   KING STREET, MELKSHAM - A known male has been arrested for drunk and disorderly.
 
Matthew RAWLINGS, 34 year old male from an address in Wedmore Park, Bath, has been charged with being Drunk and Disorderly and Assault by beating. He has been bailed to appear before Salisbury Magistrates Court on the 15th January 2019.
 
Transport - Road related offence 26/01/2019 21:15   WOODROW ROAD, MELKSHAM -  Two vehicle RTC Female driver appears to intoxicated. Female arrested for failure to supply.
 
41 year old female from the Corsham area has been Released Under Investigation, pending further enquiries.
 
Crime - Drug Offence 27/01/2019 00:36   SEMINGTON ROAD, MELKSHAM - Driver of a vehicle arrested after being found to be in possession of a tube filled with cannabis.
 
A 21 year old male from the Melksham area has been Released Under Investigation, pending further enquiries.
 
Crime – Vehicle offences 27/01/2019 21:54   TOWER ROAD, MELKSHAM - Male suspect has been disturbed as he was attempting to steal tools from the victim’s van. The suspect has then left the scene on a push bike.
