Information sent on behalf of Wiltshire Police

We are appealing for information in relation to two burglaries in Lyndhurst Road, Landford.

Overnight on 23/24 February, a large quantity of power tools were stolen from two outbuildings at two separate addresses in the street.

Items stolen include:

Stihl chainsaw
Stihl hedge trimmer
Makita electric chainsaw
Dewalt nail gun
Bosch SDS 240v drill
Bosch angle grinder
Dewalt battery drills

Community co-ordinator PC Matt Holland said: “We would like to hear from any witnesses who may have seen or heard anything suspicious in the area at this time, or anyone who may have relevant information.

“We are exploring the possibility that these offences are linked to other similar thefts in the area over the past few weeks, and I would urge anyone who is offered unusually cheap tools, to report the incidents to police so we can follow up on the information.

“I am liaising closely with our neighbouring rural crime police colleagues in Hampshire, so we can work together to co-ordinate and focus our patrols and share information.”

Anyone with information should call 101 and quote crime reference number 54190018691.
