Alert message sent 05/03/2019 15:42:00

Information sent on behalf of Wiltshire Police

We have released CCTV images of four people we would like to speak to in connection with a theft from a restaurant in Swindon.

It happened between 6.15pm and 7.45pm on Monday 25 February 2019 at Moody's Place in Commercial Road, when four people consumed £108 worth of food.

When they came to pay, three of them left the restaurant and one man remained and attempted to pay the bill using a card.

The card was declined twice, so he said he would leave to withdraw money from a nearby cashpoint.

Staff asked him to stay and find an alternative payment method but he left and did not return.

The group are all described as white and aged between 25 and 35 years old. They spoke with Irish accents.

The two men had short dark hair and were wearing khaki shorts and blue t-shirts. One was wearing a navy jacket over the top.

The two women had long brown hair and one was wearing denim shorts and a blue sweatshirt and the other had blue jeans and a white vest top on.

Do you recognise the people in the pictures? Or is this you? Please call PC Joseph Tedder on 101, quoting crime reference 54190019193. Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
