Please find below details relating to the Community Impactive Crimes that have occurred in the last 24 hours in the Trowbridge, Bradford on Avon and Melksham areas :
Crime - Theft 18/03/2019 09:09   CLARENDON AVENUE, TROWBRIDGE - Suspect(s) have removed front and back number plates from a van by unscrewing it from the van body.
PSW - Suspicious circumstances/ Insecure Premises/ Vehicles 18/03/2019 09:16   ST THOMAS ROAD, TROWBRIDGE - Suspect has tried to open the front door to a property and has then gone round to the rear of a property and tried to gain access. No damage caused or items taken.
Crime - Theft 18/03/2019 11:22   YEOMAN WAY, TROWBRIDGE – 2 x Male youths have entered store and selected a Claw Hammer and a Bluetooth Speaker which they have taken from the store without offering payment.
A 16 and 15 year old male were arrested for a number of theft offences, and have been Released Under Investigation, pending further enquiries.
Crime – Arson and Criminal Damage 18/03/2019 14:10   CASTLE PLACE SHOPPING CENTRE, MARKET STREET, TROWBRIDGE - Suspects have kicked the doors to a lift causing several dents. This is so bad that the doors to the lift need to be replaced and the lift will be out of order until this is done.
Crime - Theft 18/03/2019 14:14   PHEASANT DRIVE, TROWBRIDGE - Suspect has removed and stolen the screws from the top hinge of victim's garden gate.
Crime – Possession of Weapon offences 18/03/2019 13:43   CASTLE STREET, TROWBRIDGE - Known male suspect was seen to be carrying a knife. Male arrested for carrying an offensive weapon in a public place.
Mark PARKER, 22 year old male from an address in Langford Road, Trowbridge has been charged with Possess an offensive weapon and has been bailed to appear before Salisbury Magistrates Court on the 5th April 2019.

Bradford on Avon
Crime – Arson and Criminal Damage 18/03/2019 17:18   ST. ALDHELM ROAD, BRADFORD-ON-AVON – Suspect(s) have forced entry to victim's parked secured vehicle outside his neighbours garage, by unknown means damaging the lock and handle to the driver side door.

Crime - Burglary Residential (Dwelling) 18/03/2019 14:10   LINNET LANE, MELKSHAM - Suspect(s) by unknown means have attempted to gain access to the victim's property via the kitchen window.
Crime - Theft 18/03/2019 20:54   WOODSTOCK GARDENS, MELKSHAM - Suspect has stolen the victim's mountain bike from outside of the location after he left in outside of a friend’s house. PROPERTY : Apollo FRENZY in mainly black with some fluorescent strips of yellow and green along the saddle and insides of the tyres.
