Information sent on behalf of Wiltshire Police

We have released pictures of items of jewellery stolen during a burglary in Chippenham.

A house in Malmesbury Road was broken into around 2.40pm last Monday (25/03/19) after an offender gained access via a first-floor bathroom window.

A number of high-value items of jewellery were stolen, including rings, a necklace and a bracelet.

To view the images please go to our website: https://www.wiltshire.police.uk/article/4327/Images-of-stolen-jewellery-released-following-Chippenham-burglary

PC Tim Linzinger, from Wiltshire North Community Policing Team, said: "We believe the offender was disturbed by a visitor to the property, who saw a man running away from the house.

"We are releasing these images of the stolen property in the hope that someone, perhaps a jewellery dealer, recognises them as being offered for sale in the past week.

"If you have any information then please call police."

Anyone who can help should contact PC Linzinger on 101, quoting crime reference 54190029358. Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
