Man arrested following incident in the Spotted Cow pub car park

Officers have today arrested a man in connection with an incident at a Swindon pub car park on Friday.

Shortly after 11pm on Friday 19 April, a vehicle was driven at a man in the car park outside the Spotted Cow pub in Marlborough Road. 

The man’s leg was crushed into a parked car and he suffered serious injuries as a result.

The driver did not stop at the scene. 

Enquiries into the incident have been ongoing and this afternoon, officers arrested a 38-year-old local man on suspicion of GBH. 

He has been taken to Gablecross custody for questioning. 

Enquiries continue.
