Please find below details relating to the Community Impactive Crimes that have occurred over the weekend in the Trowbridge, Bradford on Avon and Melksham areas :
 
 
Trowbridge
 
Transport - Road related offence 11/05/2019 19:21   NEWTOWN, TROWBRIDGE - Vehicle seized S165 Road Traffic Act.
 
A 34 year old male from the Staverton area was reported for Driving otherwise than in accordance of a license and No insurance.
 
Transport - Road related offence 11/05/2019 22:23   WESTBURY ROAD, YARNBROOK, TROWBRIDGE - Vehicle seized S165 Road Traffic Act.
 
A 51 year old male from the Westbury area was reported for No Insurance.
 
Crime – Public Order offences 12/05/2019 01:42   CASTLE STREET, TROWBRIDGE -Male arrested for S5 Public Order Act.
 
Lewis SOUTHERN, 18 year old male from an address in Mascroft Road, Trowbridge, has been charged with Common Assault and Using Threatening or Abusive words / behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress. He has been bailed to appear before Salisbury Magistrates Court on the 7th June 2019.
 
Crime - Theft 12/05/2019 14:03   THE SHIRES, TROWBRIDGE - Victim has secured his bicycle with a padlock to his friends bicycle in an allocated bicycle rack outside the shopping centre and on return his bicycle has been stolen and his friends has been left.
 
Crime - Violence Against the Person 12/05/2019 15:24   A man's been arrested following an assault in Trowbridge during the afternoon of the 12th.

Officers were called to an address on Fore Street at around 3.30pm today following reports that a man had been attacked. 

A local man in his 20s was treated by paramedics at the scene for slash wounds to his face; he was then taken by ambulance to hospital where he is being treated for non-life threatening injuries. 

Soon afterwards a 38-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of GBH. 



 
Crime - Theft 13/05/2019 10:28   TROWBRIDGE PARK, TROWBRIDGE – Suspect has stolen victim's laptop while it was unattended for a short period of time.
 
Crime – Public Order offences 13/05/2019 11:51   FORE STREET, TROWBRIDGE - Male arrested for being racially abusive to the victim.
 
A 59 year old male from the Melksham area was arrested, and has been Released Under Investigation pending further enquiries.
 
Crime - Theft 13/05/2019 12:00   TESCO EXTRA, COUNTY WAY, TROWBRIDGE - Known male has been arrested for theft x3 at the location.
 
Ian GADD, 40 year old male from an address in Adcroft Street, Trowbridge has been charged with 3 x Theft from a shop. He was remanded into court to appear before Salisbury Magistrates Court this morning.
 
Crime - Theft 13/05/2019 18:07   TROWBRIDGE PARK, TROWBRIDGE -  Suspect has stolen the a mobile telephone from the back of a pushchair.
 
Crime – Vehicle offences 14/05/2019 06:56   KINGSDOWN ROAD, TROWBRIDGE - Suspect(s) have removed the front and rear number plates from the victim's car.


Bradford on Avon
 
Crime – Possession of Weapon offences 12/05/2019 00:04   KINGSTON SQUARE, BRADFORD ON AVON - Male suspect has grabbed victim and threatened him.
 
Enquiries are ongoing to gather witness statements, and identify the male suspect involved.
 
Crime - Theft 14/05/2019 07:28   SOUTH WRAXHALL, BRADFORD ON AVON - Suspect(s) have gained entry to stables and stolen an IFOR WILLIAMS HB10 horse box.
 
 
 
Melksham
 
Crime – Arson and Criminal Damage 12/05/2019 18:47   AVON COURT, MELKSHAM - Suspect has caused damage to the front communal door.
