Man charged following defibrillator damage

A Swindon man has been charged with criminal damage to a defibrillator at the town's hospital. 

Jason Salt, aged 44, from Rosebery Street, Swindon was arrested yesterday evening (31/05) at the Great Western Hospital's A&E unit after a defibrillator was damaged beyond repair. 

He was charged this afternoon (01/06) with criminal damage to property and was remanded in custody. 

He is due to appear at Swindon Magistrates on Monday 3 June.
