Please find below details relating to the Community Impactive Crimes that have occurred over the last 24 hours in the Trowbridge area :
Crime – Arson and Criminal Damage 10/06/2019 11:00   BRATTON ROAD, WEST ASHTON - Suspects have glued three pieces of paper to the victim's windscreen which reads 'NEVER PARK HERE'.
Crime - Theft 10/06/2019 15:15   UNION STREET, TROWBRIDGE - Suspect has removed cash from victims purse as she walked past. Purse was left on ground with credit cards remaining but cash removed.
  • Never leave your bags unattended, particularly on shopping trollies and be aware of people around you at all times.
  • Carry your bag close to you with the clasp facing inwards.
  • Keep it zipped up, and make sure your wallet or purse can’t be seen.
  • Avoid carrying valuables or large amounts of cash and spread your possessions about. For example, consider keeping your mobile phone separate from your keys and your store or credit cards separate from your purse.
  • Finally, never carry PIN numbers with any cards.
Purse chains are available from the Enquiry Office at Trowbridge Police Station.
