Tack Stamping

PC Cheryl Knight is planning to have a stall at Wadswick Store, near Corsham, for their Country Open Day which starts at 10am on Saturday 21st September.

She will be there to offer tack security stamping - she is able to stamp any leather saddles, bridles or other item you'd like marked to help prevent theft and identify items as yours should they ever be stolen.

Tack stamping is done by hand and in certain places on the tack; so in the event of an item being stolen, wherever in the country it is located a tack marking can be looked for in similar places. Items are ordinarily marked with your post code, an example is shown below on the underside of a bridle headpiece.
