Crimes will be listed by location under the headings of Salisbury, Alderbury (area traditionally policed from Alderbury Police Stn) and Wilton (area traditionally policed from Wilton Police Stn).

Please find below a summary of local crimes which have been reported since Sat 24th August (Please note this is a summary, it is not possible to list all crimes due to confidentiality issues e.g. some violent offences or for domestic disputes).
 
Salisbury
 
27/08 – Burglary (approx. 2pm) – Bridge Street – offender entered premises via fire door, then entered staff room and stole purses, phone and headphone. CCTV enquires ongoing
28/08 – Theft (o/night) – Old Dairy Close, Bemerton Heath – offender smashed windows of parked car – possibly catapult related
28/08 – Theft (1-30pm-2-30pm) – Woodside Rd – offender stole backpack leaf blower from rear of works vehicle
29/09 – Thefts x 4 (approx. 4-30am) – Harnham (Sussex Rd/ Wiltshire Rd/ Hollows Close – offender forced entry to vans – tools stolen from 2 vans, damage caused to 2 others
29/08 – Theft (over 6 week period) – Devonshire Rd – owner discovered catalytic converter had been stolen from vehicle
30/08 – Att Theft (approx. 1am) – Tollgate Rd – offenders attempted to remove lead from building, disturbed by alarm and ran off. CCTV enqs ongoing
 
Alderbury community area
 
28/08 – Criminal Damage (o/night) – Pound Hill, Landford – offender smashed lock on back gate to gain access to garden – nothing stolen
 
Wilton community area
 
27/08 – Theft (approx. 7pm) – Dinton – offender smashed window of parked car and stole handbag and contents
28/08 – Burglary – Wilton – see below
29/08 – Burglary (over 2 day period) - Chilhampton – offender forced entry via barn doors, stole large quantity of power tools
 
Burglary in Wilton

We are investigating a break in at the Wilton Emporium in the early hours of August 28.
A van was stolen during the break-in. The vehicle - a white Luton Connect van with registration MJ11 TBY - contained approximately 10 to 12 bikes, tables, chairs and gardening equipment. Some of the items had price tags on with ‘Alabare’ written on the tags.
We’d like to hear from anyone who may have information on the whereabouts of the van or items inside.
