MELKSHAM,(ED11) Sometime during the day on the 28th Aug an offender had stolen the front and rear number plates from off vehicle. This were recovered a few days later on a grass verge in Westbury.

MARKET PLACE, MELKSHAM, (ED11) An offender has smashed the front windscreen of a parked and unattended vehicle and left scratches and dents. The Offender has also wrenched the passenger side wing mirror off and damaged it.

HIGH STREET, MELKSHAM, (ED11) At around 0155 hours on the 30th August a male suspect has stolen a phone and purse which was in the victim’s hand and then ran off. Property: Grey zip purse containing £10, credit card, debit card, driving licence and store cards. Huawei Make 20 Pro Mobile - black metallic with a pink case.

BATH ROAD, MELKSHAM, (ED11) . Distraction theft. A male offender approached a female as she was loading her shopping into the boot of her vehicle and asked her where the nearest hospital was as he was very unwell. Whilst she was busy talking to him another suspect has gone into her insecure handbag and stole bank cards.
