Witness appeal following collision with roundabout

We're appealing for witnesses after an incident involving a motorbike and lorry on West Cepen Way, Chippenham.

At approx 4.30pm on Thursday 26 Sept, we were called to a report of a collision on the roundabout with the junction of Sandown Drive.

It's reported that the bike had to take avoiding action as the lorry cut across his lane and as a result collided with the roundabout. The HGV did not stop.

The rider was treated for a broken arm.

PC Chris White said: "If you heard or saw this collision or a lorry with a red cab driving in this area at this time, please contact us. Also, if you were driving around the area and possibly have dash-cam footage of this, please come forward."
