Information sent on behalf of Wiltshire Police

The Police and Crime Commissioner and Wiltshire Police are calling on those who live in Wiltshire and Swindon to give their feedback on the policing response to COVID-19.

The public are being encouraged to fill out a survey about how effective policing has felt to them during the pandemic so that a better understanding of their views can be gathered as the Coronavirus situation continues.

Police and Crime Commissioner, Angus Macpherson said: “The police have been working in unchartered territory over the past few months and it’s important that during the current challenges they continue to work and engage with the public. Alongside the Chief Constable I’m keen to understand the public’s perception of their local policing services during this time.”

Chief Constable, Kier Pritchard added: “Community policing has been and continues to be at the heart of policing during this pandemic and I’m asking the public to give us their feedback on our response in Wiltshire as we move through this unprecedented period.

“The past few months has undoubtedly been challenging for Wiltshire Police and the public alike and it’s important that we continue to work with the public to build upon our policing response through the next phases of this pandemic.”

The short survey, which will take no more than 5 minutes to complete, can be found here and closes at midnight on Wednesday 27 May.
