Please find below a summary of local impactive crimes, considered suitable for public dissemination, within the Warminster Community Area.

If you can provide information for any of the crimes, please call Wiltshire Police on 101 quoting the relevant reference number.

Emergencies/Crimes in progress must be reported using 999. Non-emergency police matters can be reported using 101.

We are carrying out enquiries after a number of vehicles had their tyres slashed overnight in Westbury.
So far we have received six separate reports of criminal damage, which all happened overnight between Monday 28 June and Tuesday 29 June.

They involved cars parked on driveways or in the street, in Timor Road, Fell Road, Cleveland Way, Penleigh Road and Redland Lane.

Sergeant Kevin Harmsworth, from the Warminster Area Community Policing Team, said: “I want to provide reassurance to the public that we are aware of these incidents and we have officers out in the town today carrying out enquiries."
“This will include knocking on doors, speaking to potential witnesses and gathering evidence."
“Although our enquiries are at an early stage, we don’t believe this is targeted damage but rather mindless vandalism, which has caused frustration, inconvenience and financial loss to a number of victims."
“We would ask people living in that part of Westbury to contact us if they have also fallen victim to this damage, or if they have any information which could assist our enquiries.”

Anyone with information, including anyone who might have private CCTV, video doorbell or dash cam footage, to call us on 101, quoting crime reference 54210062358. Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
