Community Pop Up and Parking Enforcement

**PARKING ENFORCEMENT OP**

Today local NPT officers and the Swindon Borough Council Parking Enforcement team were present in BROADGREEN in response to ongoing complaints by residents of obstructed highways and unsafe parking.

This was one of many joint ops with our parking enforcement colleagues.

1 Vehicle was impounded after having been warned previously about obstructing the highway.

10 Other vehicles were issued with warnings for obstruction.

16 Parking Tickets were issued.

1 Fixed penalty notice for parking on zig zags

One male was issued an Out of Court Resolution for driving towards enforcement officer after receiving a parking ticket.

Officers from the Central South Neighbourhood Team will be running a Pop up Community Engagement event at the Tap and Barrel, Manchester Road, Swindon on 1/5/24.
