Overnight, Wiltshire Police have received multiple reports of opportunist vehicle break-ins in the Highworth area of Swindon.

Wiltshire Police offer the following tips to help keep your vehicle as secure as possible: 
🔒Ensure your vehicle is always locked, and all windows are closed
🔑Store your car keys safely, with keyless car keys ideally stored in a faraday pouch to prevent 'relay theft'
🚗Park thoughtfully and responsibly - park in well-lit or busier streets and car parks. Ensure side doors of vans are parked close to walls or fences where possible
