New youth lounge opens in Devizes to support young people and tackle anti-social behaviour

Yesterday, the Police and Crime Commissioner joined local leaders, teenagers, and community supporters at the official opening of the Devizes Area Youth Lounge, a vibrant new space designed to engage, inspire and equip young people.

Located at 25 Sidmouth Street, the Lounge is a collaborative effort between Wiltshire Youth for Christ and Devizes Town Council, offering a welcoming environment where teenagers can relax, connect, and access opportunities for personal growth.

The PCC highlighted the importance of community led initiatives in supporting youth wellbeing and safety. The Lounge will also serve as a hub for promoting local youth clubs, activities, and skill building opportunities.
