Final Week to Share Your Views on the 2026/27 Policing Budget |
||
|
There is just one week left to take part in the Police and Crime Commissioner Philip Wilkinson’s Use Your Voice: Budget and Precept 2026/27 survey – and we want to hear from as many residents as possible. Wiltshire Police has made real progress over the past year, but rising costs and a £4.6m savings target mean there are difficult decisions ahead. The PCC is proposing a £15 a year increase for a Band D property (around £1.25 a month) to help protect local policing services and maintain the improvements already made. Because Wiltshire remains one of the lowest‑funded forces in England, your views are vital in shaping the budget and ensuring policing stays effective, visible and responsive in our communities. 📢 Please take five minutes to share your thoughts before the survey closes next week. Your voice matters—please make sure it’s heard. | ||
