Crime – Vehicle offences

CLAY CLOSE, DILTON MARSH, WESTBURY (EG12) Sometime between the 4th and 7th Nov a suspect has removed the headlamps and indicators from a Land Rover Discovery  which was parked in the public road.


Crime - Burglary

SEMLEY COMMON, SEMLEY, (EV12) Overnight on the 7th Nov suspects have gained access to a property via making a hole in the wall. Once  inside they have opened a key cabinet which would give them access to everything including server room. They have stolen power boards.


*UPDATE* Police enquiries led to suspect a Red Audi A5 was involved. This vehicle was then spotted and tracked by Traffic Police on the M6 Near Crewe. It eventually crashed and 3 males arrested on suspicion of Burglary. The males from Kirby, Knowsley were later released RUI. It is believed that this is linked to one of five commercial burglaries on the same night in Wiltshire including; South Newton Ins Estate, Wilton, a storage site in Salisbury. Quarryfields Ind Estate in Mere, and Wessex Water in Salisbury.

ST JOHN THE BAPTIST CHURCH, A303 STOCKTON WOOD, STOCKTON, (ER12) Sometime between the 1st and 8th Nov  suspect(s) have removed lead from the south aisle of the church roof.

WILLOUGHBY CLOSE, WESTBURY, (EG11) Overnight on the 8th Nov a suspect has scratched a VW Golf with an unknown sharp implement causing damage down the drivers’ side.

CHAPEL STREET, WARMINSTER, (ER11) Sometime between 1400 hours on the 8th Nov and 0930 on the 9th Nov a suspect has smashed the passenger wing mirror on a parked and unattended Skoda Octavia car and used a sharp implement to scratch the bodywork to both the off and near side of the car.

WHITE HORSE CAR PARK, BRATTON ROAD, WESTBURY, (EG12) Sometime between 1145 and 1200 hours on the 9th Nov a suspect has smashed the passenger window of a Vauxhall Corsa and has taken a handbag left in the vehicle, containing credit and debit cards and £100 in cash.

SANDALWOOD ROAD, WESTBURY, (EG11) Officers have attended the location after report of a group of youths causing anti-social behaviour. One male youth from Trowbridge was located and was found to be in Possession of a small quantity of Cannabis. He remains under investigation.

WOODCOCK ROAD, WARMINSTER, (ER11) Around 1500-1530 hours a suspect has driven a van onto a school playing field and skidded around, causing extensive damage to the turf.

MARISTOW STREET, WESTBURY, (EG11) A suspect has smashed the rear window of a Ford Fiesta following a loud disorder in the street.

MASEFIELD ROAD, WARMINSTER, (ER11) Following a report of a disorder, Police attended. Enquiries led to the arrest of a male on suspicion of assault. He was later released Under police Investigation (RUI).

CLEY HILL CARPARK, CLEY HILL, CORSLEY, WARMINSTER, (ER12) Between 1500 and 1630 hours a suspect has smashed the rear window of a vehicle and have stolen a Netherlands Passport, driving licence and £40 cash.

CLEY HILL CAR PARK, CLEY HILL, WARMINSTER, (ER12) Between 1010 and 1930 hours on the 10th Nov a suspect has smashed the  off side front window of a vehicle whilst it was left unattended. Nothing believed stolen.
