CRIME UPDATE (WESTBURY, WARMINSTER, TISBURY, MERE)  – 11/03/19 – 12/03/19
 
Here are the Community relevant crimes that have been reported in your area. First up, a CORRECTION to yesterday’s update as follows;
 
54190023377 Crime – Criminal Damage 08/03/2019 15:52   SPRINGFIELD ROAD, MERE, WARMINSTER (EV12) Suspects have gained access to the tennis court complex was by breaking through a wooden fence. The suspects are believed to have been spooked by a neighbour. Possible 2 youths in their teens. *UPDATE* this was in fact at the Bowls Club, NOT the Tennis Courts as previously reported.
 
54190024089 Crime - Theft 11/03/2019 10:34   CLAP LANE, TOLLARD ROYAL (EB11) Between the 4th-8th March a  suspect has stolen 400 Litres of heating oil from an oil tank located outside the front of a property.
 
54190024119 Crime - Theft 11/03/2019 11:23   HIGHER PERTWOOD, HINDON  (EB11) In the last 2-3 weeks a suspect has used an unknown method to steal 220 sheep from a field. The owner has only 160 left. The Sheep are they are 2 year old ewes not in lamb, New Zealand Romney breed.
 
54190024417 Crime - Robbery 11/03/2019 22:27   WESTBURY SERVICE STATION, WARMINSTER ROAD, WESTBURY, (EG11) At Around 2225 hours a male suspect has entered the store and threatened a staff member with a knife and the taken £215 from the till. *Please see associated Press release and information appeal*
 
54190024465 Crime - Theft 12/03/2019 09:44   COW DROVE, CHILMARK (EB11) Overnight on the 11th March suspects have stolen a very heavy life sized bronze stag from  front garden. They have also damaged the fencing whilst removing the item.
