CRIME UPDATE (WESTBURY, WARMINSTER, TISBURY, MERE)  – 01/04/19 – 04/04/19

54190031486 Crime - Burglary Business 01/04/2019 11:06   SEMLEY (EV12) Overnight on the 27th March an offender has cut the padlocks to an outbuilding and stolen a whacker plate, paint and lead from the porch roof.
 
54190031763 Crime - Drug Offence 01/04/2019 20:48   FIVE ASH LANE, SUTTON VENY (ER12) Officers on patrol conducted a routine stop check of a vehicle. On speaking with the occupants they conducted a Section 23 Misuse of Drugs Act search. 2 females in their teens from Warminster were found to be in possession of Cannabis. They were dealt with by way of a formal Cannabis street warnings for possession.
 
54190031834 Crime - Theft 02/04/2019 09:16   EAST KNOYLE, (EV12) At around 2030 hours on the 1st April offenders have stolen red diesel from a fuel tank which is located next to a road. The suspects were disturbed and made off in a vehicle, a dark coloured VW Golf. Direction unknown.
 
54190031961 Crime - Theft 02/04/2019 13:09   MARKET PLACE, WESTBURY, (EG11) between 1400-1500 hours on the 8th March an offender has stolen an insecure and unattended Silver Mongoose mountain bike
 
54190032059 Crime - Burglary Residential (Shed/Garage) 02/04/2019 17:08   HIGH STREET, ANSTY, (EB11) At around 1400 hours, offenders have gained entry to a shed by forcing the lock off. The offenders have then been disturbed and made off from the area.  Nothing has been stolen. Offenders were using a red van, and were described as white males, both around 6’ tall, one slim build, one heavy build.
 
54190032129 Crime – Criminal Damage 02/04/2019 19:54   SAMBOURNE GARDENS, WARMINSTER, (ER11) At around 1935 hours a youth has kicked the fence to a property. This has caused damage to 3 or 4 fence panels.
 
54190032272 Crime - Burglary Residential (Shed/Garage) 03/04/2019 11:08   HIGH STREET, ANSTY, (EB11) At around 1400 hours on the 2nd April an offender has forced off the padlock from a shed and caused damage to the door. Nothing has been taken.
 
54190032301 Crime - Theft 03/04/2019 12:13   CLEY HILL LANE, CORSLEY, (ER12) Between 30th March and 3rd April offenders have taken 6 x agricultural scrap batteries from a property.
 
54190032332 Crime – Vehicle offences 03/04/2019 13:19   WESTBURY ROAD, BRATTON, (EG12) Between the 31st March and 3rd April an offender has removed the spare wheel from under a Land Rover Discovery.
 
54190032394 Crime - Burglary Business 03/04/2019 14:59   LOWER WESTBURY ROAD, BRATTON, (EG12) offenders have entered a farmyard on around 3 occasions between the 20th March and 3rd April, they have then drilled holes into the concrete side wall of a barn. Attached a hinge plate and chains and attempted to pull the wall down using a vehicle. They have also tried using a sledgehammer to knock a hole through the wall. No entry has been gained.
 
54190032482 Crime - Burglary Residential 03/04/2019 13:08   BOREHAM FIELD, WARMINSTER, (ER11) Between 1030 and 1300 hours offenders have gained access to a house via the lock front door, without causing any damage. Nothing is believed to have been stolen.
 
54190032520 Crime - Burglary Business 03/04/2019 17:28   SMALLBROOK ROAD, WARMINSTER, (ER11) At around 1728 hours two male suspects have been disturbed who attempted to break in a container in a plantation field. Damage caused to one of the locks on the container it has been sheared. Enquiries are ongoing.
