Witness appeal after car and jewellery stolen during Pewsey burglary

Alert message sent 25/04/2019 10:10:00

Information sent on behalf of Wiltshire Police

We are appealing for witnesses after a car and jewellery were stolen during a burglary in Pewsey.

Three flats at an address in Swan Road were broken into in the early hours of Thursday 18 April 2019.

A large amount of jewellery was stolen, as well as a black BMW which was parked outside.

Det Con Cerys Powell, from the Community Tasking Team, said: "Our enquiries suggest the property was broken into at around 2.50am via an unlocked window.

"Once the suspect was inside the building, they were able to search all three flats and steal items, including a set of car keys.

"They then stole the vehicle which was parked on the driveway.

"The stolen vehicle was driven via Durrington, towards Egham, so we particularly want to hear from anyone who was driving in the area around the time of the burglary and may have witnessed the black BMW, or who may have dash cam footage which could assist with our enquiries."

Anyone with information should contact DC Powell on 101, quoting crime reference 54190037063. Alternatively you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
