Vehicle seized for no Driving Licence and Insurance

At 08:15 hours this morning, a vehicle seized, and a driver reported this morning for driving without a licence and insurance on Elmwell Street, Warminster.

The driver will be reported to court for these offences. The vehicle can only be reclaimed by a person proving they have a driving licence, appropriate insurance and paying the fine.

S165A Road Traffic Act 1988 - The Offence

  Detected as driving a vehicle on a road or in a public place without insurance against third party risks, or without a full valid driving licence.

Can you afford the fine?
Driving without insurance  - punishable within the fixed penalty scheme. Fixed penalty of £300 and six penalty points .
  Driving otherwise than in accordance with a driving licence - punishable within the fixed penalty scheme with a fixed penalty of £100 and three penalty points.

Or you could recieve a court summons.
