Information sent on behalf of Wiltshire Police

Wiltshire Police is recruiting an exciting new partnership role as a Community Engagement & Demand Management Officer to help improve our response to vulnerable people with mental health issues and reduce overall demand on policing in the Swindon area.  We are very grateful to the Academic Health Science Networks for funding this post for the next two years.

You will be a member of the Crime Prevention Team, working directly with members of the public and partner agencies to develop and implement care plans and early interventions.

A good understanding of mental health issues is important and some experience of working with partners in a community safety role, as well as a strong commitment to supporting behaviour change in individuals to reduce demand on services.

This is a full time role offered as a two year contract based in Swindon. Closing 23:55 Sunday 21 July 2019

If you are interested or know someone who may wish to apply and has relevant experience and skills, please pass the details onto them - job advertisement and application details here.
