Please find below details relating to the Community Impactive Crimes that have occurred over the last  in the 72 hours in the Westbury, Warminster, Mere and Tisbury areas:


Crime – theft
26/10/2019 11:30
KINGFISHER DRIVE, WESTBURY, a suspect has stolen the victim’s wallet from her trolley when she was out shopping.

Crime – Theft

EDWARD STREET, WESTBURY, a suspect has stolen the victim's wallet from the counter top as he was paying for items at the location.

Crime – assault police

THREE HORSESHOES MALL, WARMINSTER, following a report of a disturbance, an officer attended and whilst dealing with another suspect, a second suspect threw coins and a bottle at the officer.  The second suspect was arrested for a public order offence and assaulting a police officer.  The first suspect became agitated and was also arrested for public order offences.

Crime – violence against the person

FIRBANK CRESCENT, WARMINSTER, A suspect has assaulted the victim after a disagreement. The victim has been left with bruising and swelling to the eye and a bruised jaw.

Crime –violence against the person

GEORGE STREET, WARMINSTER,  a suspect has threatened the victim and the victim’s brother with glass bottles.  The suspect has then pushed victim into a brick wall. No injuries were sustained.

Crime – disturbance in a public place

MARKET PLACE, WARMINSTER, a suspect has been shouting and swearing in the street. When told to stop by officers, suspect has continued, causing offence to passers-by. The suspect arrested for public order offence and released under investigation.

Suspicious incident

SHEARWATER, WARMINSTER, A male suspect concealed himself in bushes in a woodland area and came out behind a lone female once she had walked past him causing her to be alarmed. When the suspect saw there was a third party in the area he walked away from the woman.

ASB – livestock
26/10/2019 16:00
BRIXTON DEVERILL,  a suspect has been letting there dog out in public and the dog has been worrying there livestock.

Crime – burglary
24/10/2019 23:00
STOPS HILL, HINDON, a suspect has gained entry to victim's property. Nothing was stolen and entry was not gained to the main house.

Crime – Theft of a motor vehicle
25/10/2019 22:00
A30 FOVANT, suspects have entered the victim's back garden through his garden gate and have made off with two quad bikes total.
Crime – burglary
26/10/2019 13:33
CASTLE STREET, MERE, suspects have broken into victim's shed/garage. Metal and power tools were stolen.
