STRATTONS COURT, MELKSHAM, (ED11) Between the 18th -19th Oct an offender has stolen a dog statue from outside of a property.

MARKET PLACE, MELKSHAM, (ED11) sometime between 0530 and 1800 on the 21st Oct an offender gained entry to a property and stole an XBOX CONSOLE controller HDMI cable power cable and games.

GLOUCESTER SQUARE, MELKSHAM, (ED11) Overnight on the 22nd Oct an offender has smashed the driver’s side back window of a vehicle.

QUEENSWAY, MELKSHAM, (ED11) Between the 21st - 23rd Oct an offender has damaged a wooden garden fence by unknown means, causing a split to the top of the panel and one pane of wood coming loose.

BATH ROAD, MELKSHAM, (ED11) On the 16th Oct an offender has stolen catalytic converter from unattended vehicle parked in a carpark.

PRIMROSE DRIVE, MELKSHAM, (ED11) Between the 21st and 25th Oct offenders have tried to remove wing mirrors off a parked and unattended Honda motorcycle.

Crime - Violence Against the Person

HIGH STREET, MELKSHAM,  (ED11) At around 0230 hours the Police were called to a report of a disorder outside a Kebab shop. On arrival, a male had been assaulted and had a minor head injury. A male in his 20’s from Melksham was arrested on suspicion of ABH. He was later released RUI (Under Police Investigation).

DUXFORD CLOSE, BOWERHILL, (ED12) Between 2200 and 0100 hours on the 26th Oct an offender has smashed the front windscreen of a parked and unattended vehicle by unknown means. No entry was gained to the vehicle and nothing was taken.

PHILIP CLOSE, MELKSHAM, (ED11) Overnight on the 26th Oct an offender has damaged the two passenger side tyres on two adjacent parked and unattended vehicles.

ASB - Nuisance

HIGH STREET, MELKSHAM, (ED11) Police attended a report of a disorder. On arrival a male was very intoxicated and had refused to give his details or cooperate. He was arrested for a Breach of the Peace and remains in custody at this time.

Crime - Drug Offence

FARMHOUSE COURT, MELKSHAM, (ED11) Officers attended a report of a male slumped in the drivers’ seat of a parked vehicle. The male was found to be intoxicated and arrested for failing to provide a specimen of breath. When searched Male searched a quantity of white powder found, believed to be Cocaine. Male was further arrested for Possession of Class A. The male, in his 30’s from Melksham remains in Police Custody at this time.

TROWBRIDGE ROAD NORTH EAST C226 TO BOLLANDS HILL, SEEND CLEEVE, SEEND, (ED13) Officers on patrol stop checked a vehicle. The female driver was arrested for drink driving and driving and no insurance. The vehicle was seized and recovered. Susan BARNES, 45, of Daisy Close, Melksham was later released and charged for both offences and will appear at Salisbury Mags on the 15th Nov.

AWDRY AVENUE, MELKSHAM, (ED1) Officers following a vehicle which came to their notice arrested a male driver for failing a drug swipe, failing to stop for police, no insurance and driving whilst disqualified. The male, in his 40’s from Corsham was later released RUI (Under Police Investigation). The vehicle was seized and removed from the road.

WYVERN ROAD, BOWERHILL, (ED12) following information from a member of the public, and vehicle was stopped and the driver arrested for driving whilst under the influence of alcohol. Philip BESIEN, 46, of Semington Road, Melksham was later released and charged for drink driving and will appear at Salisbury Mags on the 15th Nov.

SAVERNAKE AVENUE, MELKSHAM, (ED11) Following Police attendance at a road traffic collision, one driver failed the roadside breath test and was arrested on suspicion of drink driving. Shane SPENCER, 39, of Littlejohn Avenue, Melksham was later released and charged for drink driving and will appear at Salisbury Mags on the 15th Nov.
