Information sent on behalf of Wiltshire Police

We're appealing for witnesses to a burglary which took place at an address in East Grafton, near Marlborough.

We received a report of the break-in on Thursday 12 September 2019; unknown offenders entered the property in the village and stole an amount of jewellery.

Items included: A Baume et Mercier man's watch, gold cufflinks engraved with the initials CRB, and a pair of Marylebone Cricket Club member's cufflinks in red/yellow.

PC Mike Benson said:  "We are appealing for any witnesses to come forward who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the village around this time.
"Do you remember seeing or hearing anything out of the ordinary possibly a day or two before in what is a quiet area.
"This burglary may have happened before 12 September.
"Some of the items stolen are very distinctive with engravings - if you come across such items, perhaps online, please contact us too."

You can call us on 101 quoting crime reference number 54190090487.
