County Lines - two arrested in Salisbury

Two young males have been arrested in Salisbury on suspicion of having Class A drugs. 

Yesterday (30/10) at around 2.40pm, officers were called to Rollestone Street following reports of a disturbance. 

When police arrived they found a teenage boy in possession of crack cocaine. 

A 15-year-old male from London was arrested on suspicion of possessing Class A drugs with intent to supply. 

Shortly afterwards, a 16-year-old boy, also from London, was arrested at Salisbury Railway Station on suspicion of possessing Class A drugs with intent to supply.   

Both were taken in to custody and have now been released under investigation. 

PC Matt Holland said:  "It's believed these two young males could have been caught up in a dangerous drug network. 
"This is all part of our on-going work to stop County Lines and dangerous drug activity in our city and county - the message is simple: 'we will not tolerate illegal drugs in Wiltshire.'
"If anyone suspects illegal drug dealing in their area please contact us on 101 or if you wish to remain anonymous call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
