Crime – Criminal Damage

DOWDING WAY, BOWERHILL,  (ED12) Overnight on the 29th Oct an offender has damaged the driver-side wing mirror on a parked unattended vehicle.

Crime - Burglary Residential (Shed/Garage)

TRENT CRESCENT, MELKSHAM, (ED11) Offenders have gained entry through the back garden and have tried to gain entry into the property by trying to get in the key safe. The suspects have stood on pumpkins and damaged them when trying to gain entry. Entry was gained to an insecure garage and paint rollers have been stolen.

Crime - Drug Offence

MCDONALDS CAR PARK, BEANACRE ROAD, MELKSHAM,  (ED11) Following a report of a car smelling strongly of cannabis, Police attended and stopped a vehicle. A search was carried out. A Male driver provided a positive drug swipe and was found to be in possession of Cannabis. The male, in his teens, from West Lavington was arrested for driving under the influence of cannabis and possession, and later released RUI (Under Police Investigation). Two other male passengers in their 20’s from the Devizes area are also under investigation for possession of cannabis.

POST BOX, MILL LANE, POULSHOT, (ED13) Between 1730 hours on 1st Nov and 1030 hours on the 2nd Nov offenders have used unknown means to remove a royal mail collection post box from its pedestal and has stolen the box and its contents.

POULSHOT ROAD, POULSHOT, (ED13) At around 1150 hours an offender in an Audi vehicle has driven onto a property and taken a chainsaw from the public yard.

FERRIS GROVE, MELKSHAM, (ED11) Between 2030-2040 hours on the 3rd Nov an offender has thrown a small stone statue through the window of a parked and unattended vehicle. Nothing stolen from within.
