Please find below, details relating to the Community Impactive Crimes that have occurred between 4th and 10th November in the Trowbridge area.
54190109551 – At 0230 hours on 4th November, a 35 year old male from Warminster was stopped on Bradley Road, Trowbridge due to the manner of his driving. He has been reported for the offences of driving otherwise than in accordance with a driving licence and no insurance. The vehicle was seized under Section 161 of the Road Traffic Act.
54190110721 – around 0800 hours on 7th November, a male was arrested on Union Street, Trowbridge for shouting, swearing and acting aggressively and in a threatening manner in front of persons including children en route to school. Dylan ROSE, aged 32 from St Thomas Passage, Trowbridge was charged with S5 Public Order and appeared at Salisbury Magistrates Court on 08/11/19 receiving a fine.
54190110724 – Between 4th and 7th November, all windows on the driver’s side of a mini bus were smashed whilst it was parked in the Court Street car park, Trowbridge. No entry was gained and nothing stolen.
54190111004 – during the evening of 7th November, a secure van was broken into whilst parked in the Mortimer Street car park, Trowbridge. Stolen from inside the van were tools including a circular saw, impact screw driver, multi tool and drill driver set, saw, grinder and 18 volt batteries. The batteries were in a MAC box. One set of the batteries has written in permanent marker MC and the other set has WWR written on them.
54190111410 – at 0005 hours on 9th November, a vehicle was stopped by Police on Bythesea Road, Trowbridge. Stephen LAMPLOUGH, aged 26 from Cockhill, Trowbridge has been charged with driving a motor vehicle when over the prescribed alcohol limit and is due to appear at Salisbury Magistrates Court on 06/12/19.
54190111616 – During the evening on 9th November, entry was forced into a garage on Bradley Road, Trowbridge. The up and over garage door was forced causing substantial damage. Nothing stolen as it is believed suspect(s) were disturbed.
54190111777 - Overnight on the 9th November, the rear window of a panel van parked on Wesley Road, Trowbridge was smashed, and a Makita radio and battery in green and black were stolen from within.
Theft from Cars
Try to park somewhere open and well-lit.
Lock up – including the boot.
Remember to close the windows and sunroof.
Don’t leave anything on show in your car when you park – not even a coat or empty carrier bag.
If you have a removable satnav, remove it and take it with you if possible. Remove the mounting, polish any marks off the windscreen and hide the cable and mounting.
Store car ownership information at home, not in your car.
Number plates are often stolen for criminal use. Use plates secured with anti-theft screws, available from car accessory stores.
Try not to store things in the boot.
54190110089 – Overnight on the 4th November, person(s) have gained entry to a garden on Kenwood Close, Trowbridge through the back gate by cutting the padlock. A blue and black Giant racing bike has been stolen from the garden shed.
54190111888 – tools have been stolen from inside of a van left secure on St Thomas Road, Trowbridge overnight on the 10th November.
54190109875 – during the evening of 4th November, suspect(s) have broken into a van parked on Ashton Street, Trowbridge via the side door and stolen a drill set and rucksack full of small tools. No damage was caused. The property included a Makita power drill and driver set, Stanley rucksack tool bag containing screwdrivers, box spanners, Stanley knives and small tools.
54190110475 & 54190110621 – at around 1239 hours on 6th November on Roundstone Street, Trowbridge, a S23 Misuse of Drugs act search was conducted following a drug exchange being witnessed. Two males were found to be in possession of drugs. Kevin BROWN, aged 56 of no fixed abode was charged with possession of a controlled drug and is due to appear at Salisbury Magistrates Court on 29/11/19.
54190112197 – At 1630 hours on 8th November, a stop search on Roundstone Street, Trowbridge has found a male to be in possession of 3 lock knives. A 37 year old male has been summonsed for the offence.
54190112474 – during 10th to 11th November, suspect(s) have broken into a garden shed on Summerleaze, Trowbridge and have stolen a hunting lamp, leather goods and 2 x hunting knives.
54190111504 – At 1244 hours on 9th November, a male was stopped driving on Frome Road, Trowbridge and blew over the prescribed alcohol limit on the roadside test conducted. Martin WHITEHOUSE, aged 52 from Dane Rise, Winsley has been charged with driving a motor vehicle when over the prescribed alcohol limit and is due to appear at Salisbury Magistrates Court on 06/12/19.
