Witness appeal after burglary in Salisbury

Alert message sent 26/11/2019 12:46:00

Information sent on behalf of Wiltshire Police

We are appealing for witnesses after jewellery was stolen during a burglary in Salisbury.

The house in Kingfisher Close was broken into between 2pm last Wednesday (20/11) and 2pm last Friday (22/11), with the offender or offenders smashing a rear patio door.

We have completed house to house enquiries in the area, but are now appealing for any potential witnesses to come forward and assist our investigation.

Det Con Ben Brewster, from Salisbury Community Tasking Team, said: "We want to hear from anyone who was in the Kingfisher Close or Heronswood area around the time of the burglary and may have seen anything suspicious.

"Did you see someone who stood out, or an unusual vehicle that you had not seen before? Perhaps you have private CCTV or dashcam footage which could have vital evidence?

"We would urge anyone with information to get in touch."

Anyone who can help should call DC Brewster on 101, quoting crime reference 54190116141. Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
