Teenager sentenced for drug dealing in Swindon

A 17-year-old boy from Covingham has admitted dealing drugs in Swindon. 

The boy, who can't be named for legal reasons, pleaded guilty to two counts of supplying crack cocaine and heroin at Swindon Youth Court yesterday (26/11). 

He was handed an 18-month intensive supervisory order and will be electronically tagged for three months. 

He was originally arrested as part of Op Jetway - our County Lines intensification week long operation in Swindon in October.

Three other teenage boys, charged following Op Jetway, also appeared at the same court yesterday but the cases were adjourned until February 2020: 

A 17-year-old from Pinehurst was charged with four counts of being concerned in the supply crack cocaine and heroin, four counts of supplying crack cocaine and heroin and one charge of handling stolen goods - a stolen motorbike. 

Two 16-year-olds from North Swindon were charged with two counts of supplying crack cocaine and heroin.
