Crime - Theft

KINGSBURY SQUARE, MELKSHAM, (ED11) At around 1745-1805 hours a male suspect has stolen cable from three bins outside business premises.

Crime - Burglary Business

INMARSH LANE, SEEND, (ED13) Overnight on the 12th Dec offenders have forced entry to a premises and into a tool Store and a container within the yard. Power tools taken from both locations. Husqvarna Chain saws x 2. Hedge cutter x1 – Compressor Portable.

Crime - Drug Offence

CRAYBOURNE ROAD, MELKSHAM,  (ED11) At around 2120 hours Police were called to a property under renovation believed to be being used by youths for ASB. On arrival 5 youths were located and searched on suspicion of possession of drugs. One youth was found with an amount of cannabis. Enquiries are ongoing at this time.

Crime - Violence Against the Person

HIGH STREET, MELKSHAM, (ED11) NTE – Night time economy. At around 2340 hours Police were called to a disorder. On arrival they witnessed a disorder between a group of people in BANK STREET. A male and female were assaulted. A male in his 20’s from Melksham was arrested on suspicion of assault. He was later released RUI (Under Police Investigation)

Crime – Criminal Damage

NEWLEAZE, STEEPLE ASHTON, (ED13) in the night of the 14th Dec an offender has cut four cable ties holding a "beware of the guard dog" sign to a gate, leaving the cable ties and sign on the ground. Offender has also moved a large heavy steel bin from the middle of the front garden next to the front door.

ELIZABETH CLOSE, MELKSHAM, (ED12) Between the 12th-15th Dec, an offender has damaged the locking mechanism on a security wheel clamp attached to a parked and unattended vehicle and partially removed one piece of it, causing damage.

MERLIN WAY, BOWERHILL, WILTSHIRE (ED12) between 1430-1630 hours an offender has stolen a  sports bag, with clothes and child’s passport.

DORSET CRESCENT, MELKSHAM, (ED11) Between the 13th-16th Dec an offender has damaged a garden door to a property

BUZZARD CLOSE, MELKSHAM (ED11) back on the 27th Nov an offender had stolen a mobile telephone which had been left in a recycling box following delivery by the Royal Mail.

SARUM AVENUE, MELKSHAM, (ED11) Between 1800 and 2100 hours offenders have smashed and broken off the wing mirror of a parked and unattended Van.
