Information sent on behalf of Wiltshire Police

A Trowbridge man who passed away at an address in the town last week died of natural causes.

A post mortem on Friday (20/12) concluded that Shaun Ryan (56) from Spinners Croft, Trowbridge died of natural causes due to on-going medical issues.

Our thoughts are with his family at this difficult time.

His daughter Kirsty Ryan has written this tribute:

"The family would like to say we are deeply sadden to say we have lots our beloved dad, husband and granddad.
"We are all still in shock and coming to terms with this.
"My dad was a gentle giant, who loved his family and friends with all his heart.
"He was a much loved man by so many people.
"He would do anything for anyone who needed it, but was happy to put you in your place if you were acting a muppet - that was just dad.
"Our world will never be the same again with out him, and we would like to thank everyone for there kind words and messages at this time."

A 20-year-old man arrested at the scene has now been released and no further action will be taken against him.

A picture of Shaun can be found here.
