Please find below a summary of local crimes which have been reported since Saturday 11th January 2020. (Please note this is a summary, it is not possible to list all crimes due to confidentiality issues e.g. some violent offences or for domestic disputes).

54200003467 11/01/2020 15:00 hours Theft, HIGH STREET, SALISBURY, Unknown Suspect has stolen a purse that was in a handbag across a shoulder. Purse is pink leather containing debit cards, store cards, £35 cash approximately. CCTV enqs ongoing

54200003685 12/01/2020 14:28 hours Theft- WILTON ROAD, SALISBURY,  Unknown offender(s) have stolen 2 concrete dogs from a front garden. Both dogs were painted black and over 2' tall.

54200003738 12/01/2020 17:45 hours Theft, NEWTON ROAD, SALISBURY, Males seen stealing several packs of wood from outside racking, retunring on 2 occasions. CCTV enqs ongoing

54200003863 13/01/2020 09:14 hours Theft, RAMBRIDGE CRESCENT, BEMERTON HEATH, SALISBURY,  Unknown suspect(s) have climbed through a window in the communal entrance to a flat and stolen a child’s electric scooter value £120.00 which was outside the front door in a porch like area

54200004186 13/01/2020 18:46 hours Burglary Business and Community, CATHERINE STREET, SALISBURY, Unknown suspect(s) have stolen float money and previous day takings totalling approximately £399 from behind the restricted till area.

54200004211 13/01/2020 17:01 hours Burglary Business and Community, QUEEN STREET, SALISBURY, Three unknown female suspects have entered the store and gone into a restricted area and office, taking keys for the store in addition to personal keys. In order to do this, two suspects have distracted staff in order for the third to go into the restricted area. CCTV enqs ongoing

54200004398 14/01/2020 12:23 hours Theft, DOLPHIN TRADING ESTATE, SOUTHAMPTON ROAD, SALISBURY, Unknown suspect has stolen a secured bike from outside of a coffee shop. Blue/ grey Giant 2

54200004822 15/01/2020 12:28 hours Vehicle Offences, WESTWOOD ROAD, BEMERTON HEATH, SALISBURY, Unknown suspect has caused damage to a minibus's catalytic converter. The value of the damage is unknown at this time.

54200004832 15/01/2020 13:05 hours Theft,  BROWN STREET EAST, BROWN STREET, SALISBURY, Unknown suspect has damaged and broken into the ticket machine, using an unknown object, located in the car park and has then stolen approximately £200. CCTV enqs ongoing

54200005002 15/01/2020 18:27 hours Theft, BARNARD STREET, SALISBURY, Unknown suspect(s) have stolen a black bag containing passports, bank statements, birth certificate and £60 in cash. The bag stolen from a communal kitchen.

54200005209 16/01/2020 13:57 hours Burglary Business and Community, CASTLE STREET, SALISBURY, Unknown suspect attempted to gain access behind the reception desk of hotel but was interrupted by a member of staff. Once the staff member has left the area, the suspect has looked around the reception and taken a tablet computer; he has then left via a fire exit. Property: HUWAWEI tablet. TVO £100. CCTV enqs ongoing

54200005232 16/01/2020 14:34 hours Burglary Business and Community, COOMBE ROAD, SALISBURY, 10ft x 10ft rigid and roofed animal enclosure has been stolen from the rear of the business property. Subsequently recovered by Police and returned to owner, enqs ongoing

54200005324 16/01/2020 16:10 hours Fraud, CASTLE STREET, SALISBURY, Unknown suspect(s) has used two counterfeit £20 notes at some time over the last two months to purchase goods. The used notes have found their way into the shops float.

54200003603 12/01/2020 03:40 hours Criminal Damage, WALTER WAY, OLD SARUM, SALISBURY,  Unknown suspect has covered a vehicle and the driveway in grease. Linked offences – CCTV enqs ongoing

54200003664 12/01/2020 12:34 hours Criminal Damage, SHERBOURNE DRIVE, OLD SARUM, SALISBURY,  Unknown suspect(s) have sprayed an acid like substance on a car. Linked offences – CCTV enqs ongoing

54200003665 12/01/2020 12:34 hours Criminal Damage, SHERBOURNE DRIVE, OLD SARUM, SALISBURY,  Unknown suspect(s) have sprayed a substance across a car which has caused discolouration on the bonnet and the paint to raise up. Linked offences – CCTV enqs ongoing

54200003672 12/01/2020 13:04 hours Criminal Damage, WALTER WAY, OLD SARUM, SALISBURY, Unknown suspect(s) has caused damage to a vehicle by spraying a form of paint stripper on it. Linked offences – CCTV enqs ongoing

54200003894 13/01/2020 10:08 hours Criminal Damage, ROMAN MEADOW, DOWNTON, SALISBURY,  Unknown suspects have driven a vehicle across the green outside an address churning up the ground leaving deep cuts in the grass. CCTV enqs ongoing

54200004036 13/01/2020 13:50 hours Criminal Damage, MORGANS VALE ROAD, REDLYNCH, SALISBURY,  Unknown suspect(s) have fired a ball bearing into a clock face which is situated on a tower, at the side of a house. The ball bearing has caused the glass on the clock face to smash. Repairs estimated £1000.

54200004786 15/01/2020 08:49 hours Burglary Business and Community, KILN LANE, REDLYNCH, SALISBURY, Unknown suspect(s) have gained entry to a garage by pushing pin and release lock by unknown means to open door. Various tools valued at £3,000 stolen.

54200004994 15/01/2020 18:09 hours Criminal Damage, SALISBURY ROAD, DOWNTON, SALISBURY,  Unknown suspect has used a ball bearing to smash a front windscreen.

54200005189 16/01/2020 12:46 hours Theft, HAMPTWORTH ROAD, HAMPTWORTH,  Unknown person has stolen items from a toolbox, the tool box was attached to the back of his vehicle. The tools were valued at £3000.

54200005251 16/01/2020 15:13 hours Burglary Residential, LONG CLOSE, DOWNTON, SALISBURY,  A house is being renovated and looks like a building site Overnight person(s) unknown have broken into his garage and stolen power tools and a stack of Copper piping.

54200005307 16/01/2020 16:50 hours Criminal Damage, ST ANDREWS CHURCH, CHURCH ROAD, OUTSIDE, LAVERSTOCK, SALISBURY, Unknown suspect has caused damage to 3x ground floor, leaded, lattice style church windows by unknown means. Damage valued £400-£500.

54200005312 16/01/2020 16:57 hours Theft, CAR PARK,SALISBURY DISTRICT HOSPITAL, ODSTOCK ROAD, SALISBURY, A van was left in Odstock Hospital car park overnight and the next day it was discovered that the passenger door lock had been forced and items stolen from the van.
