Witness appeal to collision on A303

We are appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision on the A303 yesterday evening (23/01). 

At approximately 5.45pm, an Audi A3 collided with a Scania lorry at the junction of the A303 and Amesbury Road near Solstice Park. 

The driver of the car, a local man in his 30s, was taken by air ambulance to Southampton General Hospital with head injuries.  The male lorry driver was shaken but uninjured. 

This stretch of road was closed for approximately six hours. 

We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or has dash cam footage.
